Example 1

Wilton Site (1 Engineer flying in from Aberdeen for emergency plant shut down requiring a safety passport). A qualified/experienced person not requiring 2 full days of basic health & safety training; rather a confirmation/validation to assure the client that the individual has a minimum standard of health & safety knowledge/understanding. The contractor company was unaware of the e-learning passport and used the conventional passport scheme. He was required to book onto the first available scheduled course and fly back to Aberdeen as the course date did not tie in with the shutdown causing additional flight charges.
